Kenbridge Construction was recently invited to be featured on the Henrico CTE Now podcast to discuss workforce development in the commercial construction industry and the ongoing skilled labor shortage impacting the field.
In the episode, Kenbridge’s Brandon Spencer and Cameron Reekes joined the conversation to share insights on the industry’s biggest hiring challenges and how companies are working to bridge the gap from the ground up. The discussion also highlighted how emerging technology is reshaping today’s job sites and creating new opportunities for students entering Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.
As part of this conversation, the team also reflected on recent work completed by Kenbridge Construction, including the ACE Center Renovations and Expansion projects for Henrico County at Hermitage High School and Highland Springs High School. These projects support the continued growth of CTE programs and provide enhanced spaces for students to explore hands-on career pathways.
Through the successful delivery of projects that support education and participation in conversations like Henrico CTE Now, Kenbridge Construction remains committed to strengthening the pipeline between today’s students and tomorrow’s workforce.
