Project Description

Kenbridge Construction partnered with HOK Group, Inc. to deliver the Manassas Public Safety Facility, a new municipal building at 9608 Grant Avenue in Manassas, VA. Construction began in September 2020 and was completed in September 2022. The facility includes 107,000 square feet of building space and 16,000 square feet of structured parking, with one basement level and four floors above grade.

Project Manager Mike Bender and Superintendent Jeff Colvin oversaw the team on this project, which consists of three connected components: a main building, an auxiliary wing, and a structured parking deck. Key spaces support municipal operations and include offices, training rooms, meeting areas, and secure support facilities, with direct connections between the auxiliary wing and parking structure.

The building features specialized systems and finishes to support public safety operations, including secure access control, communications infrastructure, and adaptable interior layouts for offices and training spaces. Site work included clearing, grading, asphalt paving, sidewalks, landscaping, storm drainage, and utility installation.
