We recently celebrated the retirement of Wayne Puckett, Assistant Superintendent, after 51 years of dedicated service to Kenbridge Construction!
Hired as a laborer in 1975, Wayne enjoyed a successful career with Kenbridge, learning the trade and rising through the ranks to become a highly skilled carpenter before attaining the position of Assistant Superintendent.
Throughout his career, Wayne served on diverse commercial jobsites across Virginia and North Carolina, including locations as far away as Virginia Beach and Raleigh, NC. His dedication, strong work ethic, and impeccable attendance record reflect the commitment and loyalty he has shown our company over the years.
We had the pleasure of honoring Wayne at a retirement luncheon on October 9 at Sedona Taphouse in Midlothian. Many current and former employees who worked alongside Wayne throughout the years joined us to celebrate his remarkable career.
As our President, Emory Hodges, shared, “Wayne Puckett possesses a level of commitment and company loyalty rarely seen in today’s job market. His strong work ethic has contributed to the success of Kenbridge Construction, helping the company maintain a strong reputation for quality commercial work throughout Virginia and in North Carolina. He will be greatly missed.”
Thank you, Wayne, for 51 years of hard work, loyalty, and dedication! Your contributions have helped shape Kenbridge Construction, and you will certainly be missed. We wish you all the best in your well-deserved retirement!
