We’re excited to announce that Kenbridge Construction has teamed up with Kappa Sigma Fraternity and Glavé & Holmes Architecture to build an East Wing addition and a new Lawn Building in Charlottesville, VA!
This private, design-bid-build project was awarded to Kenbridge Construction from a select list of general contractors.
The work includes a two-story, 5,652-square-foot East Wing addition, a mirror image of the existing West Wing, and a single-story, 8,813-square-foot Lawn Building at the rear of the lot. Inspired by Jeffersonian Classicism, the new East Wing will perfectly balance the front façade and seamlessly match the West side in massing, appearance, and materials.
The new Lawn Building will complement the historic character of the site while offering modern functionality, including a grand hall, archives, multipurpose room, guest lounge, and guest rooms.
