ACE Center Renovations & Expansions | Hermitage & Highland Springs

Kenbridge Construction partnered with Quinn Evans Architects to complete renovations and expansions at the ACE Center campuses, located at 8301 Hungary Spring Road and 100 Tech Drive in Henrico, VA. The work included both new construction and renovation, with completion in October 2023 at Highland Springs and February 2024 at Hermitage.

At the Hermitage campus, Project Manager Brandon Spencer and Superintendent Mike Flood guided the team on a LEED-certified, two-story, four-phase project that included 79,264 square feet of new construction and 86,981 square feet of renovation. At the Highland Springs campus, Project Manager Mike Bender and Superintendent Robert Pierce led the team on a 77,507-square-foot renovation that achieved LEED-Silver certification.

The projects included administrative areas, specialty classrooms (such as Graphics and Production Studio, HVAC Lab, Hospitality and Tourism, Web Design Studio, Radio and Video Classrooms, and Vet Sciences), forum spaces, laundry areas, a clinic, culinary kitchen, restrooms, unoccupied shell space, and storage.
