Kenbridge Construction has partnered with Samaha Architects on the design-build project for the new Eastover Gardens Firehouse 6, serving Henrico County. This project represents a major investment in public safety infrastructure for one of the county’s busiest fire stations.
Henrico County disclosed that Firehouse 6 crews responded to nearly 11,000 emergency calls in 2024, highlighting the critical need for a modern, efficient facility. The building has been thoughtfully designed with a focus on safety, operational efficiency, and firefighter well-being, and is expected to begin full operations this fall.
On January 6, 2026, the project reached a significant milestone as Henrico County officials and firefighters gathered for a ceremonial “topping out.” During the event, participants signed the beam before it was hoisted into place above the walls, marking an important step in the construction process.
Kenbridge Construction is proud to be part of this milestone project and to support Henrico County’s continued commitment to public safety.
